We are located in the beautiful Okanagan Valley in the province of British Columbia, Canada. Our home is surrounded by orchards, a provincial park and a lake of many colours, an ideal place to raise our dogs. COLDSTREAM LABRADOODLES is a new venture for our family. We bought Benson, our beautiful Standard Poodle Male, 5 years ago. He has been the love of our life. I cannot say enough about the breed as they are above and beyond most other breeds. The breeder of Benson switched to raising Labradoodles so I was able to meet her dogs and was very impressed. On researching the breed and ultimately caring for my daughter's multi-generational miniature Labradoodle, I decided that this breed is the ultimate dog for families. For the most part they are non-shedding and allergy friendly. Given that the Poodle is one of the most intelligent breeds and the Labrador Retriever is renowned for its temperament and loyalty, the combination couldn't be better. I have raised German shepherds, Miniature Poodles and Dobermans. The Standard Poodle and the Labradoodle are by far the best companions and easiest to train. Carmen, our 1st generation female, was purchased from Spring Creek Labradoodles in Oregon. They have been raising Labradoodles for a number of years and have perfected the matching of the best bloodlines to breed a standard for the Labradoodle as well as the desired coat and colour. I am committed to the breed and will do my utmost to be conscientious in providing sound and well bred specimens. Both Benson and Carmen carry a five generation pedigree and their parents have all had their health clearances completed before being bred.
